What are your team key projects?

The Logistic and Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all warehouse operations within the Material Logistic Centre (MLC). The individual will be primarily responsible for performing all aspects of the outbound shipment and provide logistical warehouse support to inbound shipment management inside the MLC.

XEOS is a brand-new world class engine overhaul facility being built to overhaul GEnx and GE9X engines. It is a Joint Venture between Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and GE Aviation. The MLC will provide essential materials and logistic services within Gate 2, to support XEOS overhaul process.

You will work on

  • Receipting of parts from the XEOS outbound shipment team in appropriate shipping containers
  • Create and print relevant paperwork required for shipment
  • Update ERP system with relevant information
  • Complete final packaging of parts, ensuring highest quality and EHS standards are met
  • Creation and management of Airway Bill (AWB) information and liaise with MLC Material Planners and logistics provider
  • Be extremely diligent in ensuring that paperwork is at the correct standards and ensure scanning/archiving process is done
  • Provide part inspection support when required
  • Operate forklift truck to move parts
  • Ensure warehouse is kept to the highest 5S standards
  • Ensure timely despatch of items back to XEOS within the shipping time window
  • Receipting of parts from logistic service provider
  • Perform incoming inspection of parts to include, transportation damage, regulatory/shipping documentation, part number/serial number/quantity checks, among others
  • Be extremely diligent in ensuring that paperwork is at the correct standards and ensure scanning/archiving process is done
  • Ensure Non-conformances are highlighted on the system and work with MLC office to resolve and timely closure
  • Ensure Quarantine area is maintained to strict quality regulations
  • Perform required return transactions within ERP
  • Co-own EHS Champion role within the MLC areas, ensuring that all EHS standards are met, proactive EHS best practices are put in place and liaise with MLC leader for regular EHS inspections

What we expect from you?

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Experience working with or using ERP systems
  • Prior experience operating forklift truck and pallet trucks
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment, both with suppliers and customer
  • Be a self-directing individual
  • Attention to detail
